WOMEN'S WORK Shine a Light, Portland Art Museum, May 2013

Women’s Work is an installation that uses small LED party lights to identify all attributed work made by women, on view in the museum on a given day. The piece was originally designed for the 2013 Shine a Light show at the Portland Art Museum but could easily be recreated in any museum or art space.

Trial and error

Testing out earlier versions of the project. In this trial I went to the didactic placards with a neon paper cutout to test it's viability as a means of identifying the women's works.
